The Effectiveness of the Implementation of the Environmental Services Program for Community Groups in the Forest Areas of West Lombok Regency

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness offunding support from the environmental services schemeprovided torecipient community groups. This study was conducted in April-May 2023, in theSesaot Forest Area, located in Narmada District, selected byprovisional sampling, group selection using the census method, andrespondent selection using quota sampling. Data collection was carried out using the interview method with community groups that received environmental service funding. The data was analyzed using a scoring method, with 4 decision criteria, namely: very effective, effective, less effective, and ineffective.From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the implementation of theenvironmental service program for community groups in the Sesaot Forest Area is categorizedas effective.
