Peer Review Process

Kamane: Journal of Community Service applies a rigorous peer review process to ensure the scientific quality and originality of each published article.

REVIEW STAGES

  1. Each submitted article undergoes an initial screening by the editorial team to ensure its suitability with the journal’s focus and scope.
  2. Articles that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers for a double-blind review process (both authors and reviewers remain anonymous).
  3. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will decide whether the article will be:
    • Accepted without revision,
    • Accepted with minor or major revisions, or
    • Rejected for publication.
  4. Authors are given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts based on the reviewers’ comments and suggestions.
  5. Revised manuscripts will be re-evaluated by the editor to ensure that all comments have been properly addressed.
  6. The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief after considering the reviewers’ evaluations and the overall quality of the manuscript.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND ETHICS

All submitted manuscripts are treated as confidential documents and are accessible only to editors, reviewers, and authorized parties directly involved in the publication process. Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and are prohibited from sharing or using the manuscript’s content for personal purposes.

REVIEW DURATION

The review process generally takes between 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the number of submissions and the complexity of the reviewed content.

Through the implementation of this peer review system, the Kamane: Journal of Community Service is committed to maintaining the quality and credibility of scientific publications in the field of community service.
