Implementation of Work Unit Merger and Field Leadership Integration in Supporting Organizational Effectiveness at the PUPR-PKP Material Center of West Nusa Tenggara Province

This community service activity aimed to assist the implementation of work unit mergers and leadership integration at the Material Center of PUPR-PKP of West Nusa Tenggara Province to improve organizational effectiveness. The activities were carried out through organizational assistance, strengthening coordination and communication among divisions, administrative assistance, and the arrangement of documents and work inventories. The implementation stages included organizational needs identification, field observation, coordination with partners, assistance activities, monitoring, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, discussions, documentation, and evaluation of the assistance activities. The results showed that the assistance program improved employees’ understanding of the new organizational structure, task distribution, coordination mechanisms, and leadership integration. In addition, the program had a positive impact on improving inter-divisional coordination, organizational communication, employees’ adaptability to institutional changes, and the management of administrative documents and work inventories. The challenges encountered included the adjustment process to new coordination mechanisms, differences in work culture, and administrative practices among work units. Through this assistance program, the implementation of work unit mergers and leadership integration is expected to be carried out more optimally and sustainably in supporting the effectiveness of organizational governance.
