A reading culture is an important foundation for developing elementary school students' literacy, but its implementation in schools still faces various challenges. This community service activity aims to strengthen students' reading culture through the implementation of a general literacy program integrated into morning activities at SDN 14 Mataram. This community service activity uses a descriptive-participatory qualitative approach with a school capacity building model based on routine activities. The subjects of the activity included students, class teachers, and the principal. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, while data analysis referred to the interactive model of Miles and Huberman combined with triangulation techniques. The results of the community service show that the consistent implementation of morning literacy can increase student engagement and interest in reading, form more positive reading habits, and create a more conducive learning atmosphere before the start of learning. In addition, the active role of teachers and support from the school environment contribute significantly to the program's success. This morning literacy program also shows potential for sustainability because it is easily integrated into school routines without requiring significant additional resources. This community service activity contributes in the form of a good practice model for strengthening reading culture in elementary schools that is participatory, contextual, and has the potential to be replicated in other schools with similar characteristics.
