Abstract

The educational process often faces challenges due to instructional approaches that are overly generalized and lack the flexibility to accommodate the diverse characteristics of learners. This study aims to analyze in depth the concept of individual differences, personality dimensions, and the interaction between hereditary and environmental factors in shaping student personality from the perspective of Islamic Educational Psychology. The method employed is descriptive qualitative based on library research. The results of the analysis indicate that individual differences encompass physical-biological, psychological (interests, motivation), and learning style (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) dimensions. Individual personality is dynamic and can be classified through trait and type approaches, as well as identified through indicators of healthy and unhealthy personalities. Personality formation is the result of a harmonious dialectic between heredity as the baseline map of innate potential (talent, intelligence) and environment (family, school, social) as a space for spiritual and moral stimulation. The recommendations of this study emphasize the importance of synergy among the three education centers (tri pusat pendidikan) to create an inclusive and varied learning ecosystem to optimize the unique fitrah (nature) of each learner.
