Focus and Scope

Kamane: Journal of Community Service is a scientific journal published by Sangiang Global Nusantara Foundation. This journal publishes the results of community service activities focusing on empowerment, mentoring, and the application of science, technology, and innovation in various fields of life.

The journal aims to disseminate the results of community service activities that contribute to improving the quality of life, education, health, economy, and environment of society. Kamane: serves as a platform for knowledge exchange between academics, practitioners, and the community in implementing science and technology for social development.

The scope of Kamane: includes but is not limited to the following topics:

• Education and Community Training; learning programs, teacher training, digital literacy, and non-formal education;
• Economic Empowerment and MSMEs; entrepreneurship training, local business innovation, and development of regional superior products;
• Health and Environment; promotive, preventive, and educational health programs and environmental conservation;
• Science and Technology Application; appropriate technology, digital transformation, and community capacity building based on science and technology;
• Social, Law, and Culture; advocacy activities, legal literacy, cultural preservation, and strengthening social values;
• Food Security and Agriculture; sustainable agriculture, agricultural technology, and empowerment of farmers and fishermen.

Kamane: accepts manuscripts in the form of community service reports, empowerment models, best practices, and collaborative works between academics and the community. All submitted articles must show real contributions to the betterment of society.

All manuscripts are reviewed by expert reviewers using a double-blind peer review system. The decision for publication is based on scientific contribution, originality, and relevance to the journal’s aims and scope.
