Peer Review Process

Ncera: Journal Community Innovation applies a rigorous peer review process to ensure the scientific quality, originality, and practical contribution of every published article in the field of community innovation, empowerment, and sustainable development.

1. Each submitted manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening to assess its compliance with the journal’s focus, scope, author guidelines, and ethical publication standards.
2. Manuscripts that successfully pass the preliminary evaluation are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject area.
3. Ncera: Journal of Community Innovation employs a Double-Blind Peer Review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.
4. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, methodological quality, relevance, clarity of presentation, scientific contribution, and the potential impact on community innovation and empowerment.
5. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial decision may be:
• Accepted without revision,
• Accepted with minor revisions,
• Accepted with major revisions, or
• Rejected.
6. Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ comments and submit a detailed response to each recommendation.
7. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.
8. The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ recommendations, editorial assessment, and the overall quality of the manuscript.

All manuscripts submitted to Ncera: Journal Community Innovation are treated as confidential documents. Access is limited to editors, reviewers, and authorized personnel directly involved in the publication process. Reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality, avoid conflicts of interest, and refrain from using unpublished materials for personal or professional gain.

The peer review process generally requires approximately 2 to 6 weeks, depending on reviewer availability, manuscript complexity, and the number of submissions received by the journal.
